I have a Thread mesh network (wireless) running multiple nodes. I am using the CLI to send pings between the nodes and i analyze the mesh performance. My problem is that the txpower command is not working at all. How may i change my transmission

RE: txpower command not functional in the CLI (using Putty)

Thanks, Jorgen. I really appreciate your help.

txpowermax

and

txpower

work accordingly for getting the maximum transmit power and setting the transmit power, respectively. What is the max transmit power i can use with the nRF 52840? I know that increasing the power will drain the battery rapidly.

Thanks for the link to the latest version. I avoided that one because someone pointed out to me that i should only use the SDK for Thread only not the Thread and Zigbee one. Guess they were mistaken.

I was using the command:

txpower

because i was pointed to this github link by some one who had done a similar app:

https://github.com/openthread/openthread/blob/master/src/cli/README.md#txpower

I was careless and should have noted that the link was a 2016 one. Outdated.

Thanks a lot again Jorgen. You just made my day.

RE: txpower command not functional in the CLI (using Putty)

There is no CLI command named txpower in OpenThread in that release. The OpenThread libraries in Thread SDK v0.11.0 are based on this commit.
