work accordingly for getting the maximum transmit power and setting the transmit power, respectively. What is the max transmit power i can use with the nRF 52840? I know that increasing the power will drain the battery rapidly.

Thanks for the link to the latest version. I avoided that one because someone pointed out to me that i should only use the SDK for Thread only not the Thread and Zigbee one. Guess they were mistaken.

I was using the command:

txpower

because i was pointed to this github link by some one who had done a similar app:

I was careless and should have noted that the link was a 2016 one. Outdated.

There is no CLI command named txpower in OpenThread in that release. The OpenThread libraries in Thread SDK v0.11.0 are based on this commit. The CLI reference is available here, you should use txpowermax.

I would also recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of the SDK.

Which version of the Thread SDK are you using?

Can you post the exact command and response you are using/getting?

I sent the command txpower via the Putty terminal and i get the 'parse' response. My mesh has nRF52840 nodes.
