I understand that internal processes may need to undergo several changes, but honestly, I think allowing such a large community of developers to help you guys improve the SDK is a huge win.

Hi Andy,

The main difficulty with the nRF5 SDKs is that they are developed and maintained in an internal VCS, and the development process is based on internal system. What you suggest is possible, have some obvious benefits, but requires process changes that won't come for free.

A good news here is that the SDK drivers are on Github, so if you want to contribute you can do it here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nrfx
