i have just a short, easy question, but i couldn't find the answer in the datasheets.
Normally the ports on the 6310 board can deliver ~3.3V. Is it possible to increase that to 5V?
If not, is somewhere on the board a source for 5V? So i

RE: nRF board 6310 5V

Hello,

thanks for your reply. I am a bit confused. I am using a Starter Kit with a nRFgo Motherboard, which is connected via usb. So the supply voltage should be 5V. And my question is, can i somehow get access to this 5V? Or is the only possibility to use the pins with an output lvl of ~3.3 V.
Thanks for your time.

RE: nRF board 6310 5V

Hi

The supply voltage for the nRF51 is 1.8V - 3.6V, so the GPIO pins will output that voltage. There is not output from the chip that has higher voltage than the supply voltage.

Sorry, I think I have misunderstood your question a little bit. Yes you can get 5V out from the nRF6310 motherboard under the OFF/ON switch on the motherboard. Th leftmost pin has 5V when the board power is switched off. You can measure the pins to verify that. The middle pin also has 5V when the board power is switched on.
