So, its nine months later since the question of 2G (or 3G) fall back support was asked. Without speculating, does the current HW/FW release of the nRF9160 as of Sept 1 2019 support 2G/3G fallback if my modem can't find an LTE tower?
I can't find any reference to it anywhere.

I don't work for Nordic, but it's got to be a definite "NO". Supporting 2G means massive changes to the product. This is a lean NB1/M1 device.
