&lt;p&gt;You should add the new files listed in &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/DocLib/Content/SDK_Doc/Mesh_SDK/v2-2-0/md_doc_migration_2_0_1_to_2_2_0"&gt;this guide&lt;/a&gt; and remove the files that have been remove ticker.c. You could also take a look at the differences between the light switch example between the two SDK versions.&lt;/p&gt;
