I would try to use the v4.0.2 softdevice. Hopefully that solves the problem. You do not need the bootloader to run the Thingy FW. It should be fine with only the softdevice &amp; application FW. The bootloader is needed if you want to do a DFU for example.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
