Hi Jim,

The nRFgo Studio is legacy software which is no longer maintained. I recommend you use the nRF Connect Programmer app instead if you want a GUI tool from programming.

Alternatively, you can use nrfjprog, which is part of nRF5 Command Line Tools.

Boy, I kinda hope you're wrong, because I'm basing my actions on the online documentation. Concerning that it might be that out of date.

Anyway, thanks a lot. I will look for nRF Connect and get it.

I think I saw in some other posts that nRFGo Studio is basically deprecated and you should use nRF Connect for Desktop instead. I had all kinds of issues (crashing etc.) with nRFGo and made the switch to Connect. Connect seems to do everything I've needed so far.
