Hi Martin,

I tried connecting to bonded devices performing directed advertising and you are right it works even when the device is invisible by scanning. It even works with the Motorola E5 Play Go and Nokia 2.1 when scanning is completely broken.

The only case where it didn't work is with a BLE 4.0 android device. I can't find the information but I think low duty-cycle directed advertising is a BLE 4.2 feature.

Hi picben,

On some phones or some Android versions the direct adv packets are not shown in nRF Connect, but when you try to connect to this device it will connect, so just the empty direct advertising is hidden in some way.
