&lt;p&gt;I would take a look at one of our examples that implements the use of timers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, take a look at the nrf_drv_timer.h, nrfx_timer.h and nrfx_timer.c files in the SDK.&lt;/p&gt;
