I would suggest putting the service UUID in the advertisement packet and see if that helps.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the&amp;nbsp;Core Bluetooth Programming Guide and its &lt;a href="https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/documentation/NetworkingInternetWeb/Conceptual/CoreBluetooth_concepts/CoreBluetoothBackgroundProcessingForIOSApps/PerformingTasksWhileYourAppIsInTheBackground.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40013257-CH7-SW1"&gt;Core Bluetooth Background Processing for iOS Apps&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;section it is possible to scan for advertisement packets when the application is running in the background. However, there are certain limitations e.g.&amp;nbsp; increased scanning interval.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is the service UUID that is scanned for put in the Advertisent packet or in the Scan response packet? Make sure that the design guidelines in Section 11 of the &lt;a href="https://developer.apple.com/accessories/Accessory-Design-Guidelines.pdf"&gt;Accessory Design Guidelines&lt;/a&gt; are&amp;nbsp;met.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I would recommend that you post this on an Apple Developer forum as well as this appears to be an iOS issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
