Then, using Segger Embedded Studio, Connect J-link, Erase all, and download the light_switch_dimming_server_nrf52840_xxAA_s140_6.1.0 example.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No errors this time, and the nRF Mesh android app found the device correctly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In case it helps, my setup is just the SKB501 module with capacitors in VCC, SWDIO and SWDCLK swapped, Reset unconnected, and powered from P1 of the nRF52840-DK development kit.&lt;br /&gt;I used the J-Link inside the nRF52840-DK for programming, Debug output in P19, and SB47 not shorted.&lt;/p&gt;

I can program the target device powering both DKs from their USB connectors, even powering the target device form the programmer DK.&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ll test with more modules in case any of them can get connected.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In case all of them fail, would it be safe to assume that it&amp;#39;s something concerning the connections to the module? I get the same error.&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve tried powering both ways. From the VDD output in the P1 header with SB47 not shorted and from the debug output with SB47 shorted. &lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve tried both powering methods with and without connecting RESET. And I made sure when RESET is disconnected that it is pulled up to 3v as you adviced.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No luck in any combination.&lt;/p&gt;
