I'm using nRF Connect V2.6.1 on Windows 10, I launch " Bluetooth Low Energy V2.2.0 " that uses PCA10059 Dongle as central.
Also, I have developed a peripheral application on PCA10040 DK (SDK 15.2) and I set the rx_phys,tx_phys to BLE_GAP_PHY_2MBPS

RE: BLE 5.0 using nRF Connect and PCA10059

Hi,
I would like to know when the new version of nRF Connect supporting the BLE 5.0 will be released.

nRF Connect for Desktop is built on the node.js version of pc-ble-driver (pc-ble-driver-js). We only recently added support for s132 and s140 v6.0.0 softdevices in pc-ble-driver, and this support have not yet been migrated to the node.js version and nRF Connect for Desktop. The currently supported softdevice version is s132 v3.1.0, which does not support any Bluetooth 5 features. We are working on adding BT5 support to nRF Connect but this is currently not complete.

Best regards,
Jørgen
