I am trying to program a nRF51 chip with a dev kit. When I install the base nRFGo Studio, it is able to detect the board but it won't read the chip because it is out of date. If I uninstall and reinstall and not install the command line tools

RE: nRFGo Programming nRF51 with Dev Kit

Hello,

Please try to program the chip through the Programmer app in nRF connect desktop or with nrfjprog bundled with the command line tools. The programmer app replaces nRFGo studio which has not been maintained for while now.
It auto installs to C:/program files (x86) while the command line tools defaults to C:/program files.
I may help to uninstall the 64 bit version and install the 32 bit version of command line tools instead.
