Hi Dani.

You can follow this migration document without any issues. As long as we are talking about the same version of s132 and s140 (for example s132 v6.1.0 and s140 v6.1.0) then their API are the same. The only difference is that s140 supports more features.

Hi Andreas,

My previous code for nRF51822 was based on S110. Now, when migrating to nRF52840 I must use S140. The 'nRF52_Series_Migration' document does not say nothing about s140: it only mentions migration to s132. Should I follow the same procedure to migrate to s140? Or is there any other document related to s140?

There is no AN like the nAN36, for the nRF52840. This AN was needed due to the lack of documentation at the time.

But, there is a tutorial section in DevZone for BLE Advertising, Characteristics, Central, and Services. There is also a video tutorial with an introduction to BLE.

Other than that, the SDK is more thoroughly documented than SDK 5.2 was, you can find more detailed descriptions on hardware drivers, API references, libraries, user guides, data structures, and examples on DocLib.

The latest SDK out for nRF52840 is SDK 15.2.
