I am learning the nRF9160 and want to know a few things about it.
The features say that nRF9160 has NB-IOT and LTE-M modems built in. So is NB-IOT and LTE-M a separate network protocol like MQTT and TCP/UDP or its the communication method which

RE: nRF9160 All Web Communication Possible?

I'm probably not the expert to answer this (because I'm learning myself), but my understanding is that NB-IOT and LTE-M are more like 3G, 4G and get your device connected to the tower. After that you have an internet connection and an IP address and can access any internet resource you would like over TCP/UDP.

Also my understanding is that LTE-M is implemented in the firmware and NB-IOT is not yet? I heard that's coming (March? With GPS, which is also not implemented yet). Maybe it's already in there and this is old news.
