No idea. It will probably stop advertising as you say, because the advertising isn't restarted as in the multilink examples.

Out of curiosity, what would happen if I changed NRF_SDH_BLE_TOTAL_LINK_COUNT to an integer > 1 and tried to connect with more than one central device?

My guess is, that as soon as the connection to the first central device is established, the peripheral device would stop advertising.

Hello, we do indeed support multilink peripheral and central applications. There are several multilink examples in the SDK, for instance the ble_app_multiperipheral example. The ble_app_uart example is not multilink, so NRF_SDH_BLE_TOTAL_LINK_COUNT is set to 1.
