I am using 2 separate flash areas/records.
The PM starts at 0xF8000.
Product flash starts at 0xfA000 and is 3400 to 3500 bytes decimal long

When I write to the flash it is put in the upper part

RE: FDS_GC SDK15.0 52840

Yes, it sounds like you have implemented it correctly. With regards to the re-connect issue, have you checked if the program ends up in the app error handler, or if the program hangs elsewhere?

RE: FDS_GC SDK15.0 52840

Yes I am using FDS for both

I believe that I am using it correct. the app is using a static area that is in ram so it shouldn't matter where it ends up in flash as long as the record keeping is correct.

It may be that the error exhibited is secondary.

I have bounded the flash writes to verify that they stay in their respective structures.

I will keep on checking as to why.

Thanks

RE: FDS_GC SDK15.0 52840

Hi,

Are you using FDS or fstorage to manage storing of user data? FDS does not allocate separate flash regions for registered users, nor does it allow data to be store at fixed addresses. In other words, you may see that the product record(s) gets moved around in flash (after updating a record or after GC). This is why record and filed ID are required to locate records.
Question: Is this correct?? Or are the records supposed to be separate thru the FDS_GC call?
Yes if you are using FDS for both.

RE: FDS_GC SDK15.0 52840

System when product flash is running: The Peripheral will does not reconnect properly

I disable the product flash and all works properly.

When product flash is disabled and PM flash is still running then the peripheral will reconnect over board resets.
