Is there any additional drivers that i have to install to use nRF connect on my Mac?
I've installed it and when i connect the nRF9160 DK to the Mac, it doesn't get the USB drivers.

Regards

The update to nRF Connect solved my problem.

I will try to get my hands on a Mac and try this for myself, but in the meantime can you try installing the newest bundle with command line tools? They have some of the newest jlink drivers.

https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRF5-Command-Line-Tools

Best Regards,

I'm running nRF connect v 2.6.1. I've restarted the application and no com ports is showing in link monitor. I've checked my system for available com ports and nothing is showing.

When i plug in my 52840 dongle i can connect to it with the BLE app so i don't understand why the nRF9160-DK won't show any ports. Even when i cycle the power to the DK, the LED's on the DK is flashing, but no com ports.

I didn't understood what you are struggling with. Can you reset the nRF91 DK and restart the LTE link monitor and see what happens? Are you having trouble seeing the COM ports listed in the LTE link monitor application? Can you see if the COM ports are listed in your "Device manager"? I think the "Device manager" in Mac OS is called "System Information".

Best Regards,
