You are supposed to provision the coexistence example but you have to use the provisioner found in the light switch example and not nRF Mesh. Follow "Evaluating using the static provisioner".

How do I achieve that ?

Because the "Testing the example" part does say: "Run the light switch example as described in Light switch example"

But I can't provision my client.

Alright. So am I not supposed to provision the Coexistence example ? This is why, I'm confused about the testing process. How do I know that the example is working ?

Is there any example where it can be detected in the nRF Mesh app ? If not, should I follow this guide ?

Hi,

Like I mentioned, the example can't be detected in the nRF Mesh app because it doesn't support either the GATT provisioning bearer or the Proxy feature. You can test the example by following "Testing the example" in the documentation.

Hi AndreasF,

I'm currently testing this example. I am having the same issue as Sunil vignesh where the UART Mesh coexist board is not detected by the nRF Mesh App so I was wondering if you could give me more details about the testing process.

By that, I mean what are the detailed steps to do after I flashed the ble_app_uart_coexist on one of my DK boards ? How can I see that the Mesh for light switching part is working ?

I was trying to set up a mesh network so that when I would simulate a button press from the UART App (eg the Switch), the servers would turn on/off their leds just like the Light Switch Example but with UART in addition.

I don't know if it's clear. Let me know if you need more details.

Hi,

The SDK UART coexistence example does not support either the GATT provisioning bearer or the Proxy feature, so your device won't be detected in the nRF Mesh app. You can have a look in the documentation on how to test the SDK UART coexistence example.

Not sure what you mean by:

"Does the UART/Mesh board need to be provisionned ?

If not, how do I configure the mesh light server?"

Could you give me more details on what you are trying to do?
