Thanks for the reply. I actually managed to fix my issue yesterday but I didn't had time to update this post.

The thing is that the nRF52-DK is shipped with god knows which SoftDevice programmed on it. I erased everything from the SoC and then uploaded the s132 SoftDevice and Bluetooth started working.

For future reference to others, if you get this issue then go here https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRFgo-Studio/Download download and install nRFgo Studio. Also download and install the nRF5 Command Line Tools which can be found here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRF5-Command-Line-Tools/Download#infotabs
NOTE: whatever you choose and install the 64bit or 32bit version of nRFgo Studio you need to download and install the 32bit version of nRF5 Command Line Tools.

Plug in your dev board on your pc and in nRFgo in the section Device Manager select your board, then click Erase All. Once done select the Program SoftDevice tab and select the file "s132_nrf52_6.1.0_softdevice.hex" which is found at [nRF5_SDK path]\components\softdevice\s132\hex and click Program.
