Yes, that is correct. App_timer library use the low frequency RTC as the clock source. This consume less power than the TIMER peripherals that require the HFCLK to be running.

Hi Jorgen, many thanks for your answer. I chose to use an application timer (app_timer_start).This way I have no problem.I decided to use an aplicative timer also because I seem to have understood that this consumes less energy. it's correct?

Hi,

Which timer instance are you using? Note that the softdevice use and blocks access to TIMER0, you will have to use another instance for SAADC sampling. Can you share the code used for configuration of timer and SAADC?
