Hi Andreas,

In the target hardware I am able to detect the Nordic chipset nRF52480 by flashing USBD application on the chipset using JLINK SWD.

Now I have query related how I can establish communication from Nordic chipset using USB interface to CPU ?

Which USB generic driver I need to use and where I can update VID,PID for nordic chipset?

Is there any specific driver file is required for Nordic chipset for USB communication with CPU ?

Please share your thoughts .

Hi.

If you have to use a J-Link Debugger to flash, then use it. I'm not familiar with programming NINA-B301. And yes, you have to flash a application which supports USB interface in order to use it.

Thanks for response. So for flashing I need to use JLINK JTAG and then I can flash any application which does supports USB interface.

No, you have to flash a firmware which configures the USB in order to use it.

Thanks for response.

I could flash USBD application and test that on EVK with dedicated Nordic chipset USB port. I am able to read Device ID and Vendor ID on host PC. But please let me know without flashing application like USBD in target hardware , can I detect and access device ID ?

Hi.

The NINA-B301 is a 3rd party module, I do not know what is flashed on that.

You need a firmware which understands USB commands on your device in order to use them.

You can flash one of our USB examples onto the board.
