I've just received a nRF9160 DK.
I've installed nRF Connect v2.6.2 and LTE Link Monitor.
I select the device (3 serial ports are shown). I press reset button and the terminal shows that the application is started.
I introduce AT, AT+CFUN?

RE: nRF9160 AT commands error

I had the same error. Resetting the board didn't help, but starting the nrf programmer solved it. Does anybody know why?

RE: nRF9160 AT commands error

Not sure. Just a tip from experience. It may be something to do with logging maybe. I have noticed similar things when opening up a Segger RTT log in Bluetooth Mesh for example. Sometimes I need to turn off the nRF52 DK before I open the RTT log.

RE: nRF9160 AT commands error

why is this the case?

RE: nRF9160 AT commands error

.... and suddenly started to work!
