&lt;p&gt;I haven&amp;#39;t looked at the guide as I&amp;#39;m not implementing a new model. I&amp;#39;m simply using the model provided by Nordic in the SDK for Mesh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For the moment I&amp;#39;ve patched the SDK to get this working. See the attached patch. This will most likely cause the unit tests to fail but it solves the problem for now.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I see that is not allowed to de-allocate the subscription list once the model-subscription list configuration is written in flash. I will give this feedback about the current implementation to our mesh team, and will keep you update with their comments.
