I have this same issue where I get nrfncloud connect failed 60 all the time but have not been able to get much help with it. I updated modem firmware but that did nothing. I can run the at command application and it does connect properly. Hoping someone has a solution.

It looks like there was a issue with the secure boot. I've rebuilt and reflashed the secure boot and it's working.S

I do have the same issue here. Sometimes the asset tracker is able to connect but after a couple of second, it throws this error:

NRF_CLOUD_EVT_TRANSPORT_DISCONNECTED

It was all working without any issues before updating to the newest modem. The at_command example runs without any issue. Is the asset tracker not compatible with the 0.6.8 modem? Is it possible to get an old modem version?

Hmm I'm getting this now too with the above asset_tracker_updated.hex file, here's my output from the Link Monitor

nrf_cloud_connect failed: 60

Any idea? Thx!

Hi avm,

I am sorry that you are experiencing this.

I have two quick suggestions to try out:

1. Update to the latest modem firmware

2. Try to flash this Asset_tracker application:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../asset_5F00_tracker_5F00_updated.hex

(with nrfjprog: nrfjprog --program asset_tracker_updated.hex -f nrf91 -r --sectorerase --verify)

the location is central US and Verizon has 2 out of 4 bars in signal strength. These are the events reported by LTE link monitor
