I confirm the software works on a new DK.

However is does not on version 0.9.3

I thought important to mention that my DK revision is also 0.9.3

I'm sure that setup is correct.

I guess the problem could be related to hardware revision, my DK is one of the first pre-market samples and it slightly different. I will buy a new DK and test it again.

Are you sure that you have the correct setup?

With /SDK_v15.3.0/examples/peripheral/usbd_cdc_acm/hex/usbd_cdc_acm_pca10056.hex, I found the USB device:

With the /SDK_v15.3.0/examples/peripheral/usbd_ble_uart/ I could connect:

The USB device also shows up:

And the breakpoint APP_USBD_EVT_POWER_READY is reached:

Hello, AndreasF.

I have nRF52840 PREVIEW DEVELOPMENT KIT (nRF6828 Rev: 0.9.3).
Software: Ubuntu 16.04, nrfjprog version: 9.7.3 JLinkARM.dll version: 6.34f, SES 4.12

My steps are:
1. Connect DK to PC over 2 USB ports.
2. Flashing the device with ~/SDK_v15.3.0/examples/peripheral/usbd_cdc_acm/hex/usbd_cdc_acm_pca10056.hex
nrfjprog --chiperase --reset --program usbd_cdc_acm_pca10056.hex --family NRF52 --verify
3. Observe $> udevadm monitor - no new devices. Tested under Windows 10 - same result.

With same example from SDK 15.2.0 on step 3 - new device connected, virtual com port /dev/ttyACM0 available.

Same story with usbd_ble_uart (device is advertising but connection attempts are failing), usbd examples.

Breakpoint on APP_USBD_EVT_POWER_READY is never reached.

How are you testing the examples? What is not working? What errors do you get?

Could you please share the errors and test setup (what you have flashed to the device, how it is connected to your work station)?

I've got the same issue on PCA10056 0.9.3 and SDK 15.3.0 All USBD examples are not working (precompiled HEX as well)

Examples from SDK v15.2.0 are functioning well.
