I'm interested in nRF52832 support for bluetooth.org Core 5.1 position finding feature. Unfortunately, I didn't find any reference design on the site to implement this feature and begin playing with IPS functions.

CAAA and QxAA refers to the chip layout (Number of pins and SoC size). The position finding features, such as example code and function descriptions will be released in software updates throughout 2019. As for the antenna, we can not recommend any antennas as of yet, but I'd imagine a 3x3 or 4x4 antenna array would be the go to solution if you want to start developing by yourself.

So no, there is no additional documentation at this time, other than the reference design itself.

Best regards,

Thanks for the hint, but I've already browsed the 811 page, downloaded the "reference layout" zips (don't understand what CAAA and QxAA mean...) + all available files, but couldn't find any documentation on: antennas number and design, position finding functions description, code samples, etc.

Nothing available by Nordic?

Thanks in advance for your support!

RE: Is there any reference design with nRF52832 to implement position finding feature?

Yes, you can find them in the download tab in the link I posted in my previous reply.

I am sorry but the nRF52832 does not support Bluetooth 5.1. The only chip we have that supports position finding is the newly released nRF52811 SoC.
