Then you will have to contact the manufacturer to ensure you have both crystal oscillators available on the board according to schematics.

This is what the manufacturers told and I didn't know how to figure out whether crystal oscillators are available or not.

I'm a little confused. The schematic you sent clearly states that there are two crystal oscillators, one LF and one HF.

Have a look at the Clock Management chapter in the product specification for the nRF51822. The settings I referred to are for the Low-Frequency Clock (LFCLK), meaning you will only get 32kHz.

Another detail, please see this relevant case to configure the internal RC osc for SDK 12.

By default, the clock source should be set to external LFCLK. Is the SDK 11 project already configured with the internal LFCLK?

Also when i used the SDK 11 to run the sample beacon example, it worked perfectly.

What is the difference between the sample codes between the two SDKs?

In sdk_config.h you can change clock source, by default it is set to 1 = XTAL:
