as Mttrinh said you need to do first time setup to the segger studio SDK_ROOT

If you are building the mesh examples with SES for the first time you must complete a one-time setup of the SDK_ROOT macro in SEGGER Embedded Studio. This macro is used to find the nRF5 SDK files. The SDK_ROOT is by default using the nRF5 SDK 15.2.0 unzipped right next to the mesh folder. You probably don't have a nRF5 SDK 15.2.0 instance next to the Mesh folder, which is why you get this error.

Have a look at this.

RE: nrf mesh software issue

You have to merge the Mesh SDK with the nRF 5x SDK. You can take a look at this post by Hung Bui: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/29108/how-to-add-mesh-into-nrf5-sdk-v14-1-v15-ble-application

Edit: oops, my bad giving the incorrect answer :( Just download the nRF5x SDK and place it next to the Mesh SDK. Please read the answer from Mttrinh.
