As this mechanism is being used for commands, both 'end devices' and 'routers'

RE: Continuous Scanning with Immediate Advertisements

Hi,

The SoftDevice will scan on one scanner for the full scan window and move to the next channel for the next window, so you should see scanning on channel 39 as well. How have you tested to see that it is not the case?

RE: Continuous Scanning with Immediate Advertisements

Hi Einar,

Thanks for the response.

If you could comment on the lost scanning intervals question that would be great.

From my testing, in the case of the second image the scanning on the channel 39 timeslot just doesn't happen.

RE: Continuous Scanning with Immediate Advertisements

Hi,

I see why you want this for this special use case, but the SoftDevice does not support preempting operations like you have described. Once a scanning windows has been scheduled it will complete. The only way I see that you could achieve this is by using a custom BLE stack, (which is a lot of work to implement and qualify, even with limited functionality).
