We are using nRF52840 in our product for both Client and Server communication on BLE5. We are seeing an overall average time of 5+ seconds for the overall connect, data transfer and disconnect to happen.
We are also seeing that the time taken

RE: Improving (decreasing) , connect/disconnect/data transmission times on the nRF52840 product

Hi,

The central and peripheral both are nRF52840 devices in this case. We just had a call today with Sebastian and have got some directions to look on the advertising, scanning interval and connection interval. The team is doing the tests with these parameters and verifying the behavior. I will post the results with the scenarios tested under by tomorrow for further discussion.

Thanks

Can you explain your setup in a bit more detail? For instance, is the nRF52840 both central and peripheral for instance just peripheral? If so, what device is the central? What are the connection parameters etc. and what performance would you expect? Can you upload a sniffer trace of the communication? Starting with a sniffer trace is usually the best way to understand these types of issues.

You will soon be contacted by someone from regional sales on email regarding this as well.
