I am trying to generate the hex file for the examples like tx and rx I'm not able to generate that plz can you suggest me how can generate the hex files

Thanks for the response. I did that already. If I go Build -> Build ble_app_uart_pca10040_s132 or press F7 the hex file never updates in that folder. Just found out that if I right click on Project and press Rebuild the hex file in the output Release folder does get updated. I will stick to this method when I need the latest hex.

Hi,

As you using Segger Embedded Studio for building the files, please find the picture attached

you can change the configuration at the top left which create the output files into Debug/Release folder.
