 Sorry for the seemingly simple question. I&amp;#39;m using the nRF52832 chip and I have a 4xdip switch connected to P26, P27, P09/NFC1 and P10/NFC2. I can successfully read the state of P26 and P27 when configured as GPIO digital input.

&lt;p&gt;You are correct, there is some additional settings to be aware of when configuring the NFC pins as GPIOs. This depends on the IDE you are using. If using Keil μvision, please refer to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/10020/struggling-with-basic-gpio-read-on-nrf52"&gt;this post&lt;/a&gt;. If using SEGGER Embedded Studio this picture should explain how to configure your NFC pins as GPIOs:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
