Is this correct? I have V2.0.0 board but it is not V2.1.0 or later so I guess this doesn&amp;#39;t work either... Does it mean I have to buy development kit to use sniffer?&lt;/p&gt;

I know this might be a bit late but I wanted to share with you the fact that Perytons (www.perytons.com) have just introduced a BLE sniffer - we have been using their tools for other WSN protocols (ZigBee and 6LoWPAN) and we are very satisfied with their products and support.
Their products are not cheap but are very professional and intuitive to use. They have helped us a lot in our development and research work. - they are far lower than the price tags of Ellysis nor Frontline ;-)
They have 2 models and use the standard off-the-shelf TI CC2540 EMK USB dongle as a front-end (they even provide a 30 days free evaluation of their SW that you can use to capture and analyze your own data - f you have the Front-End/s or look they pre-captured files included with the package).
