&lt;p&gt;The documentation for this example can be found &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/DocLib/Content/SDK_Doc/nRF5_SDK/v15-3-0/iot_sdk_app_lwip_tcp"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. There is also some documentation in the example itself.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;To demonstrate TCP protocol support on nRF5x, the &lt;a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LwIP"&gt;lwIP&lt;/a&gt; stack is used. Nordic&amp;#39;s stack does not currently support TCP.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
