We do not touch the LFCLK, either through the raw IO map or via the nrf_drv_clock() module.
We enable SoftDevice, do a bunch of work, then disable it so we can write to UICR.

We observe SoftDevice hanging as it

RE: SoftDevice hangs forever during disable while stopping lfclk

Hi Charles

Yes, your workaround looks good and won't cause problems for you. It seems you have understood and dealt with this bug correctly.

Best regards,

That ticket looks like it's confirming the following statement:

"When the watchdog is enabled, nrf_drv_clock_lfclk_stop() will hang forever."

If that's an errata, we can live with it; we're already past it. I just want to confirm that my reading of the of the other bug is correct, and that my workaround is endorsed by Nordic.

RE: SoftDevice hangs forever during disable while stopping lfclk

Hi Charles

Glad to hear you found a workaround!

Are you using the WatchDog? In that case we have seen this issue before in threads like this.
