Hi,

1. Could you update the nRF Connect to the latest version v2.6.2 by setting -> check for updates now?

2. Could you try again or try other nRF52832 DK?

When it completes the updating, it will be disconnected. You will see that the new application starts up by scanning for it with nRF Connect.

Hi,

I followed the same I am able to program the device using the tutorial, the device is advertising and I am able to connect to the device but when I am trying to update the hrs_application_s132.zip file by pressing the DFU button in nrfconnect application the device is disconnecting and it is not updating the firmware.

I am Nordic development kit only, I am using nrf52832.

Here I am not yet creating my own bootloader, I want to test default buttonless_dfu application by sending default dfu image file that is available in the sdk.

But when I am flashing default code itself i am getting the above mentioned errors in my UART terminal.

Which board do you use? Is it a custom board or Nordic DK? Which nRF chip is used on the board?
Do you build the image including SD + Bootloader + Settings + Application as the Step.4 in nRF52832-buttonless-dfu-development-tutorial?

Step 1 - Test Buttonless DFU Template Application inside the nRF52832-buttonless-dfu-development-tutorial also shows how to test DFU function.

But it is happening with every SDK like v15, v15.3.

So how can we test the default functionality.

Hi,

It seems the Bootloader is lost. The bootloader is designed so that when the DK is powered on, it will amongst other things check if there is an application present in flash and if there is, it will boot into this application FW. Please refer to this nRF52832-buttonless-dfu-development-tutorial to prepare the image.
