sudarshanj645 Could you please try using the nRF Programmer app instead of nrfgostudio? You can find this app in nRF Connect for Desktop.

Also, I don't have the J-Link configurator, but I am able to detect it on my COM port as well as drives.

Thanks for the help, I installed a new J-link version and I am now able to flash and erase code from my 52840 DK. However, Go studio is still unable to detect my board. This is what it says. devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../nrfgostudio-sc.docx

I don't immediately recognise the error message, but I do note that you're using a old J-Link driver.

Are you using the same driver version as your collegues?

Also can you see the board using J-Link Configurator?

The board is fine, as all my colleagues use it on their systems without any issues
Also when I connect it to my USB port, I am getting the Jlink CDC UART port appear on my Device manager, as you said. I am unable to detect it on GoStudio or flash any code onto it, though.

When you connect the board to your PC via USB you should see a Jlink CDC UART Port appear within DeviceManager.

If not try a different USB port, if that still doesn't work then you may have a driver or a board issue.

When connected LED5 next to the PCA10056 labelled chip should be constantly lit if the board is working.

It's possible that you may have accidentally corrupted the interface MCU firmware.

You can verify this by disconnecting the board, then reconnect it whilst keeping the "IF BOOT/RESET" button pressed. Keep this button pressed for around 10 seconds, in which time LED5 short start flashing and a File Explorer window titled BootLoader should pop open.

Copy the IF firmware located on https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Kits/nRF52840-DK/Download#infotabs

into the file explorer window. The LED will flash at a fast rate. Power cycle the board and it should now talk again and show up as a COM Port
