 Based on the electrical specification of nRF52840&amp;#39;s HFCLk, the current consumption seems quite different depends which crystal is being used (attached the screenshot). What makes this huge difference?

Crystal oscillator current consumption is the dominant parameter in device stand by modes, where the device operation is suspended but the crystal oscillator is kept active. A low value on CL should be your preferred choice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;CL varies from crystal to crystal, and therefor the current consumption differs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you want to know more about crystals, choosing CL, crystal accuracy ect. have a look at the whitepaper:&lt;/p&gt;
