&lt;p&gt;iPhone X does not have support for long range. A device can have BT5 support without having support for all the features supported in BT5 (long range). As per today just a very few phones on the market have long range support.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If it&amp;#39;s an iOS&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;error code, then you will have to consult the iOS documentation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;if it&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp;a Nordic error code, then use your IDE&amp;#39;s browsing facilities to find the definition - there will be a description there ...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
