I am writing an application that will have to switch the radio in between a number of different modes. (With/without AutoAck, and with/without dpl).
I have been looking for a "reset" function for the radio, to get into a known state.

RE: nrf24le1 radio reset

Hi

I was looking for a radio only reset. I know, that putting the radio in Power down mode does not reset the radio registers.

For now, I have found this RFF = 0, that solved part of my problem. (This flag is not described in the data-sheet.)

RE: nrf24le1 radio reset

Do you want to reset the entire chip or just get the radio into a different state? There's the rfce bit that will take the radio in and out of active mode.If you set rfce = 0 you will disable the radio. The radio will not be reset however completely unless you do a chip reset. I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but I suggest you have a look at for example figure 6 on page 18 of the nRF24LE1 product specification.
