The vendor's package includes two header files and a .lib. I was wondering how to go about including this in an SES project?

As mentioned in the edit for my original question, there is a .a file available. I'm glad to know that it's as straightforward as including a source file.

I'll attempt the compilation and respond accordingly.

RE: Precompiled Libraries in SES Projects

Hi again.

My mistake, I read the question a bit too quick and read ".a lib".

It is as awneil says in his first reply, the library has to be a GCC-compatible library in order for this to work.

After digging around some more, the API does indeed include precompiled libraries compatible with GCC, as well as armcc, hence my confusion.

RE: Precompiled Libraries in SES Projects
include the .a file
You should only have to include the .a file the same way as a .c file:

You can read on the Infocenter about adding source files and header files.

Best regards,

Is the library compatible with GCC?
