Thanks for getting back to me.

As mentioned in the edit for my original question, there is a .a file available. I'm glad to know that it's as straightforward as including a source file.

I'll attempt the compilation and respond accordingly.

Hi again.

My mistake, I read the question a bit too quick and read ".a lib".

It is as awneil says in his first reply, the library has to be a GCC-compatible library in order for this to work.

Thanks for your response. After digging around some more, the API does indeed include precompiled libraries compatible with GCC, as well as armcc, hence my confusion.

GCC does tend to use .a - hence the question whether it is a GCC-compatible library ...

You should only have to include the .a file the same way as a .c file:

You can read on the Infocenter about adding source files and header files.

That's really a question for Segger - not Nordic.

Is the library compatible with GCC?

Does the library have any memory requirements which conflict with the SoftDevice ?
