&lt;p&gt;When I try to Select Device, (000683758172 PCA10056) I get the below error.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Glad to hear you got out of the bootloader mode by yourself! I suggest you download &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Connect-for-desktop"&gt;nRFConnect for desktop&lt;/a&gt;, which has a programmer app where you can easily write and upload projects to your chip, and get log files to see if the program flashed correctly or not, as it is way easier to find out if something is going wrong that way.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Next, go &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Software/nRF5-SDK/Download#infotabs"&gt;here &lt;/a&gt;to download SDK 15.3. Then open nRFConnect and the programmer app. In the programmer app choose your device, then add a hex file, then click the erase and write button to flash the firmware to your device. You can try the led_softblink just tp confirm that all LEDs work properly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please confirm that you&amp;#39;re able to program the board and that the LEDs pulsate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The next step would be to download &lt;a href="https://www.segger.com/products/development-tools/embedded-studio/"&gt;SEGGER Embedded Studios&lt;/a&gt;, which is a free IDE for all developers using Nordic products, and is available for macOS, where you can create edit and upload your own projects to the nRF52840 DK.&lt;/p&gt;

If step 5 (Use the buttons SW1 to SW4 to control which LED is pulsating) fails,&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Kits/nRF52840-DK/Download"&gt;click here&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;to download version 1.1.0 firmware, and continue from step 7 to program the new firmware into your nRF52840 DK.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
