&lt;p&gt;If you don&amp;#39;t need those attributes in other projects I think that the easiest and cleanest way is to make a new definition in your main.c file with another name. It generally a good thumb rule to avoid modifying the source code to drivers, libraries, BLE services, and ZigBee related files.&lt;/p&gt;
