You can use any debugger which supports Cortex-M4 and SWD.

Segger Embedded Studio (SES) only supports JLink, but other IDEs may support other debug probes; eg, Keil uVision can use the Keil uLink.

RTT is a segger-specific thing.

Some people have reported success using ST-Link - but that's not supported, so you'd be on your own with that.

So what detail do you feel is missing?

The debug connection is the same as for any other ARM Cortex-M4 - there's nothing special here.

Look at the DK schematic to see how the on-board JLink connects to the on-board nRF52832.

You can use UART or JLINK debugger,

With UART, confgure pins as Rx and Tx and send data over it.

Connect SWDIO and SWDCLK pins and with JLNK RTT Viewer view logs.

Remember to modify NRF Logs accordingly.

I've checked it but it has not enough detail. It says just use debug out pin.

The debugger on the nRF52DK can be used to debug an external target.
