I am working on home automation device in which I am using nRF24L01P module. Product is already in production. I bought these modules from local market which not original. So am facing problem of range and data packets loss.
If you look at our chip overview the nRF24L01p is not in the "legacy product" section, which means we don't say that you should not use it for new designs:
https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/2.4GHz-RF

There is no newer version of the nRF24L01p that are drop in compatible in terms of hardware and software.

All our newer chips are SoC devices with embedded ARM controllers that require you to write the software on the Nordic chip directly.

Best regards
Torbjørn

RE: Replacement of nFR24L01+

Could you tell me why don't you recommend? If there is another better chip available that can replace this NRF24l01p without changing in our developed software, please suggest me that.

RE: Replacement of nFR24L01+

Thank you for help

RE: Replacement of nFR24L01+

Hi Raj

It is correct that the nRF24L01p is not recommended for new designs, but you should still be able to order it from our distributors.

In your case it sounds like it's not really a new design either.

Did you specify to the distributor that you are looking for buying the chipset only, and design your own PCB?

It is possible that they don't have nRF24L01p modules in stock, but ordering chips should be unproblematic.

Make sure to specify that you are just looking to buy the chipset. If they are still pointing to the nRF52 just let us know, and we can contact them about it.

Best regards
Torbjørn
