Yes, Ole, it is working, when the button is pushed while powering up. Is it possible to enter bootloader mode without shutting down the system? For instance when I write characteristic for entering bootloader, send data which means "enter bootloader", without pushing buttons.

You have to keep this button pressed while the device is powering up, but when doing so, I don't have any problems with this. Does your regular application start even when holding button 7 when starting?

I got it working, but only the first time. It means when I erase chip and download S110 and bootloader.hex, then I am able to download firmware over the air. But when I try to download application for the second time I don't get (I push BUTTON7, to enter bootloader mode as written in the spec). Do you have any ideas?

How did you get it working? I also get "ImportError: No module named intelhex"

I do so:

Download S110 stack to nrf51822.
Download bootloader.hex via Keil. (when I try to download bootloader.hex via nRF Studio, it gives me an error) (Read only memory area by default is IROM1 start 0x3c800 and its size is 0x3400) in other projects memory starts at 0x14000 with size 0x2b000
LED0 and LED1 are set and LED0 toggles (about 20sec on, and ca 1sec off). and then i try to run it via CMD.

Hi, i didn't hear something about it before. So it would be possible to flash the device via Bluetooth or via Air? Is there any app note in sdk?

you can try :

1.download intelhex,and run ipy setup.py install 2.fix the /dfu/init.py about by your Installation path: masterApiBasePath=r'C:\Program Files\Nordic Semiconductor\Master Emulator'
