The documentation seems scant and IDE behaving inconsistently with regards to how basic project management, adding source files, libraries etc to a NRF9160 project, here's what I'm experiencing difficulties with:

Unfortunately, adding files within SES is not yet finalized, but it is in progress. In the v0.4.0 tag of the "nrf" repo, there's added tags in each projects CMakeLists.txt (# NORDIC SDK APP START and # NORDIC SDK APP END)

This allows you to add files, as described here: https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/blob/master/doc/nrf/gs_modifying.rst

However; dragging and dropping a source file into the project is unfortunately not supported yet.

Kind regards,

So a new question then, how does one specify emstudio parsed folder structure in CMakeFiles and tag source files (sub CMakeFiles) to be within its hierachy?

This all works fine for me. Two things I would check:

1) Make sure you have the full segger license installed. You can get a free license since you are working with Nordic kit but you still need to go through a process to get a key - from memory.

2) Check the permissions on the main project directory. By default SES dumps everything into the main project directory - one of my personal hates.

Hope this helps
