Yes, that is the exact cable I bought to convert to SMA for my GPS antenna. As for my antenna I'm using a Johnson Technology antenna 1575AT43A0040 and the evaluation board for that is a 1575AT43A0040-EB1SMA.

I'm sure there are other antennas that would work, but if you have a DK 0.8.2 then this is what you need to add (along with the latest radio firmware) to get the GPS to work.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. I want to use GPS in my DK 0.8.2 version too. Which antenna are you using? Did you add a matching network on the board or just connected it to J6 SWF connection that is for the GPS? I guess I need something like this to convert it to SMA and then use a GPS antenna. Do you use a passive or active antenna?

Also to close the loop, the quit after 30 tries is due to firmware 0.7.0 15, update your radio firmware to 0.7.0 29 and that fixes that. But DK 0.8.5 fixes the built in antenna issue. I don't have that, but I do have 0.8.2 with an external antenna and it's working with the latest firmware.

Do you have a 0.8.5 kit available? It is supposed to work with that version.
