So you mean the "NRF Mode" cant be used for communication with other devices such as smart phone. is that right?

Hi,

nRF51 series has a 2 Mbps mode (called 2Mbps NRF mode) that is not compatible with the 2Mbps BLE mode introduced in Bluetooth 5. You may use it as you like for non-BLE purposes, e.g. Enhanced Shockburst.

nRF52 series supports both 2Mbps NRF mode and 2Mbps BLE mode, and thus has support for 2Mbps in the respective Softdevice versions.
